Estes Viking Model Rocket Kit Description:
The Estes Viking is one ridiculous research rocket with 48
different fin arrangements. The kit comes with five special die cut
card stock fins which allows the builder to customize the model
rocket to his or her special desire. Let your creativity take over,
place the fins up, down, or even sideways if your heart desires.
You're the rocket designer, let your imagination run wild.
Included in this Skill Level 1 rocket kit is a single piece body
tube, molded nose cone and self-stick decals. This rocket stands one
foot tall and when flown with standard Estes engines can reach an
altitude of 1,650 feet. When the rocket returns to the ground orange
streamers are deployed which makes finding your rocket quite simple.
The Viking can be built in a few hours and is a great rocket for
beginners, class projects, clubs and rocket demonstrations.
Building tools, finishing supplies, Estes engines, and launch supplies
required - sold separately. Recommended for ages 10 and up with adult
supervision for those under 12.
Skill Level 1 Model Rocket Kit Assembly:
Requires some painting, gluing and sanding. Features laser cut balsa fins, slotted body tubes, plastic nose cones and self-stick decals. Step-by-step instructions make building very easy. Assembly takes at least an afternoon.
