New Summer Products from Estes Model Rockets

For years Estes model rockets have been the leader in beginner to intermediate model rocketry. Their design and engineering team manages to come up with new innovative technology that keeps customers coming back over the years. The summer of 2011 is an exciting one with a few new products being released from Estes.

Each season Estes will release a few new products to their line, some are new designs while others are re-issued model rockets from the past. • Estes Sky Twister Starter Set - EST1429: Not too long ago Estes carried "starter kits" which included a model rocket plus the rocket engines. It looks that Estes may be bringing back these famous kits. The Estes Sky Twister Starter Set includes both the rocket and rocket engines, and an unique recovery system. When the rocket's recovery system deploys the parachute and separates the body tube and the nose cone. The body tube returns to the ground with a 12 inch parachute, while the nose cone features a helicopter recovery system.

• Estes A10-0T Model Rocket Motors - EST1510: Not often will Estes release a new type of rocket engine, however when they do, it's a new breed. This rocket motor is a mini engine that is designed to launch with model rockets that weigh less than four ounces. The rocket motors come with four engines, 4 igniters and four igniter plugs.

• Estes Loadster Bulk Model Rockets - EST1760: Bulk model rocket kits are excellent ways to teach math, science, engineering and technology curriculum to students. The Loadster bulk pack comes with 12 Skill Level 1 model rockets which are fairly simple to build and meant for beginners. The model rockets feature a clear payload section which makes launching different items into the sky extremely fun.
