Does this Estes Rocket ring a bell but looks a bit smaller? Your eyes are not playing tricks on you, this is a mini version of the popular Estes Der Red Max Model Rocket. This Rocket although downsized provides plenty of launching fun for beginners, collectors and all Rocket Kit enthusiasts.
This uniquely designed Estes favorite has been cloned in a smaller footprint. The Estes Rocket designers have retained the ballistic shaped nose cone, stubby fins and skull and crossbones decals. The Mini Max 00245 Model Rocket is not short on Skill Level 1 attitude!
Follow this red and back renegade rocket 400 feet high. Keep a close eye out for the high-viz streamer as the Mini Max starts to return from it's aerial assault flight.
This Skill Level 1 Model Rocket Kit comes with the mini balsa nose cone, fins and classic Mini Max waterslide decals. Skill Level 1 is the entry level in Skill Level Model Rocket building. Assembly of Skill Level 1 (SL1) model rockets is more advanced than the Estes Ready To Fly (RTF) and E2X Almost Ready To Fly Model Rocket Kits. Skill Level 1 Estes Model Rocket Kits requires some painting, gluing and sanding. Step-by-step instructions make building very easy. Assembly takes at least an afternoon. Tools and finishing supplies are sold separately.
This Skill Level 1 Estes Model Rocket Kit does not include launch pad, controller, engines or recovery wadding. The Mini Max Model Rocket Kit is recommended for ages 10 and up with adult supervision for those under 12.
