What is that yellow glow in the sky? The Solar Flare Estes Model Rocket! This Skill Level 2 Kit stands 17 inches (68.8 cm) high and can soar to an altitude of 800 feet (244 m).
The Solar Flare provides an outstanding value as you really get two (2) model rockets. Fly the upper stage payload capsule on an Estes 1511 A10-3 mini engine without the booster.Fly the upper stage and booster together as a two stage rocket. The booster stage can be launched with the 1608 B6-0 or 1616 C6-0 Estes Rocket Engines.
All Model Rocket fans will admire the ring design of the Solar Flare rocket. Recovery of this rocket comes in two different styles. Tumble for the booster stage and a 12 inch preassembled Estes Parachute for the upper stage.
This Skill Level 2 Model Rocket kit features high quality body tubes, clear payload section, plastic nose cone, laser cut balsa fins and straight forward assembly instructions. This Rocket Kit is recommended for ages 10 and up with adult supervision for those under 12.
