What do the different color Estes A Series Model Rocket Engines mean? Each type of Estes Engine is printed in a different color:

• Green Label = Single Stage Engine
• Purple Label = Upper Stage Engine (can be used as single stage engines in lightweight rockets)
• Red Label = Booster (contain no delay or ejection charge)
• Blue Label = Plugged (used for R/C gliders and contain no delay or ejection charge)
