Red Max is one of Estes' most popular rockets and the consumers have
requested it be brought back. So here it is, back and ready for
flight. This rocket has a unique design and color scheme that will
instantly make this rocket one of your favorites.
The uniquely decorated rocket stands at
16 inches tall and is a must have for all model rocket enthusiast.
The long, ballistic style nose cone offers an impressive aerodynamic
design while the stubby fins provides balance through flight. While
using standard Estes rocket engines this rocket can fly 700 feet and
with an 18 inch colorful parachute this rocket will be ready for
continuous launches.
This rocket looks like the original,
with its memorable skull and crossbones decal, but has had some new
improvements added. Laser cut balsa fins have been added for improved
performance and the light-weight materials used to construct the
rocket allow for higher altitudes. With this classic model rocket you
will have everyone at the launch site talking.
You will need construction tools, finishing materials, an Estes launch
system, rocket engines, and four AA alkaline batteries for your controller,
igniters and wadding - sold separately. Recommended for ages 10 and up
with adult supervision for those under 12.

Requires some painting, gluing and sanding. Features laser cut balsa fins, slotted body tubes, plastic nose cones and self-stick decals. Step-by-step instructions make building very easy. Assembly takes at least an afternoon.
