Estes D-Region Tomahawk is a 1/5 scale of NASA's magnificent missile,that was only launched once in 1968. The rocket's primary mission was
to collect data from the D-layer of the ionosphere, hence the rockets name. This scale rocket captures all the details of the original
rocket and is quite simple to assemble.
Now lets talk performance and design. When this model rocket is fitted with Estes E size engines it can catapult to 800 feet. Landing is easy when your rocket is equipped with a 24 inch nylon parachute. Standing at over three feet tall, 38.8 inches to be exact, this rocket is sure to have
every rocket enthusiast turning their head when you get ready to launch.

Requires some painting, gluing and sanding. Features laser cut balsa fins, slotted body tubes, plastic nose cones and self-stick decals. Step-by-step instructions make building very easy. Assembly takes at least an afternoon.
