Want to have some fun with your flying group? How about experimenting
with different rocket and engine sizes! The creative designers at the
Estes rocket lab have developed an easy to assemble, multiple segmented
rocket that will provide hours and hours of flying fun!
The Converter is not only a flexible rocket design that allows for
experimentation, it is also a sky-high performance rocket that can
easily reach altitudes over 750 feet (229 m), returning on a flashy 18
inch (46 cm) preassembled parachute. The Converter is an E2X (Easy to
Assemble) rocket kit that reduces building time to about an hour. The
four uniquely designed tube couplers are easy to use and can be changed
quickly between launches at the field. Every time you change the length
and power of the rocket, you change the flight profile. You can make a
high flying rocket as short as 24 inches (61 cm) or a super long rocket
that is almost 40 inches (102 cm) tall - all with this totally
transformable rocket.
Glue, Estes launch supplies and model rocket engines are required - sold separately.
Recommended for ages 10 and up with adult supervision for those under
12.
