Estes Bull Pup 12D Model Rocket Kit Description:
Are you someone who loves scale models?
Well here is your chance to own a replica of the USAF AGM-12D Bull
Pup. The Bull Pup, which was created in the late 50's, was used in
combat until the 70's as a air-to-ground missile. Over 30,000 of
these bad boys were constructed and the missile has been an icon in
many wars including the Korean and Vietnam. If you are just starting
out in scale model rockets this is a great place to begin your hobby.
Unlike the original Bull Pup missile,
this rocket lands on the ground without a bang. A 12 inch parachute
deploys at apogee (highest point), which can be nearly 675 feet with
a standard rocket engine. With a large diameter, single piece body
tube, high quality molded plastic tail and nose cone, laser cut balsa
fins and authentic full color self-stick decals, this rocket really
packs a punch.
Assembly may take up to a full day to complete. Building tools,
finishing supplies, Estes engines and launch equipment required - sold
separately. Recommended for ages 10 and up with adult supervision for
those under 12.
Skill Level 2 Model Rocket Kit Assembly:
First tier of more advanced kits. Requires beginner skills in model rocket construction and finishing. Features laser cut balsa or plastic fins, plastic nose cones and unfinished body tubes. Assembly may take a complete day.
